The Home Team exists to equip families — and that starts with treating the people who trust us the way we would want our own family treated. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use jointhehometeam.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The Home Team ("we," "us," "our") is a family ministry offering conferences, coaching, curriculum, a podcast, and resources for parents, couples, and church leaders. This policy applies to jointhehometeam.com and the pages, forms, and services hosted on it.
Our online store at jointhehometeam.store and our ticketing, donation, and payment partners run on their own platforms with their own privacy policies. When you leave our site for one of those services, their policy governs what happens there.
We do not handle your card details. Payments and donations are processed entirely by Stripe, Givebutter, Brushfire, or our store platform. We never see or store your full card number.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we do not intend to.
We use a small set of trusted platforms to run the ministry. Each one only receives the information it needs to do its job:
Our site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make pages load and forms work. Others help us understand how the site is used.
Certain event pages — such as our conference pages — include the Meta pixel, which helps us measure whether our advertising is reaching families who are actually looking for what we offer. This may allow Meta to associate your visit with your Facebook or Instagram account.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can limit ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
We share personal information only in these situations:
You are always in control of your relationship with us:
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We honor these requests regardless of where you live. Email us and we will take care of it.
Our resources are made for parents and leaders about raising children — they are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and our service providers are established platforms with their own security programs. Access to our email lists and donor records is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
That said, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep your information as long as you are engaged with the ministry, and afterward only as long as we need it for the purposes described here or to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Once you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record so we do not accidentally email you again.
As the ministry grows and the tools we use change, this policy may be updated. When we make meaningful changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
We would rather hear from you than have you wonder. Reach out and a real person will get back to you.
